How to Join
Requirements

Be at least 18 years old

Possess a valid driver's license

Live within the Northport Fire District
-
Currently hold an EMS license or Firefighter I certification (or obtain one within 18 months of joining)
To join, visit Northport Fire Department Headquarters and submit an application
Firefighter vs. Rescue-only
Prospective members may join as firefighters, firefighter-EMTs, or rescue-only members. Rescue-only members respond to medical emergency calls and provide medical care during fire operations (including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, and water rescues)
